His mother, Marianne, was a housewife who raised five sons, and now works in a bank. Father Colin Cavill served in the Navy and then he began to work as a stockbroker. Hanry was educated at St Michael's Preparatory School in Saint Saviour, Jersey. At school, he loved to play on stage. After graduating from elementary school, he managed to enter the traditional English closed boarding school for boys in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. Cavill himself sought to leave the island, but the closed school did not come easy to him. The transition to a new school was a real stress for him. He constantly called his mother, demanding to take him home. Classmates did not accept the newcomer, since he appeared in the middle of the school year. Henry tried to overcome stress with food. Due to being overweight, the guy was called "Fat Cavill." Despite the fact that he trained every day, his favorite fried potatoes with ketchup did their job. At that time, the student was seriously interested in theater. On the school stage, portraying some ancient hero, he did not feel the object of ridicule. In addition, the young man played rugby, field hockey and cricket, was a member of school teams.

Cinematic Biography

A year later, he gets the very interesting role of Albert Mondego in the film adaptation of the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas “The Count of Monte Cristo”. However, for this role he had to lose at least 10 kilograms. A strict diet and sports activities came to his aid. Henry coped with this role brilliantly and received positive reviews from critics of such publications as Variety, Rolling Stone, New York Times and many others. According to the producers, he was too old to play a 17-year-old vampire. In the end, this role was given to Robert Pattinson. It was doubly unpleasant. Because, before this, Henry ceded to Robert Pattinson the role of Cedric Diggory in the movie "Harry Potter". He was also not selected for the role of James Bond, because they considered him too young for this role. Another failure was the "Superman Returns" project. Cavill has already been approved in the main role, but there was a change of director. Subsequently, the entire cast changed.
